Footlite Musicals is proud to announce open auditions for Rodgers & Hammerstein’s Oklahoma!, directed by Len Mozzi. Mozzi brings 50 years of directing experience to this production.

• All roles are open & available

• This is not a youth production. Auditioners must be 18 and over.

• Please bring a list of conflicts. No conflicts allowed after Feb 14.

• Being familiar with the story and script will be beneficial. Those auditioning will be asked to read excerpts from the show.

SHOWS RUN MARCH 12-28, 2027

For our 2027 production, Oklahoma! will be reimagined with a fresh, contemporary visual approach. Modernized costumes and a simple, utilitarian set will keep the focus where it belongs: on the actors, the characters and the story.

Vocal Audition Details

Please bring 16-32 bars of a song from a Rogers & Hammerstein or other Golden Age musical that shows off your vocal talent, with sheet music in the correct key for the provided accompanist.

Actors auditioning for the role of Curly may also sing 16 to 32 bars of a country western song. If you play a guitar, please accompany yourself. If not, bring music for the provided accompanist. Guitar playing is an asset but not a requirement.

Dance Audition Details

For the dance/movement portion of the audition, a change of clothes is encouraged. Some roles will dance more than others.
