Join us for our second themed (Drum Circle), Dance and Art creation time!

It’s also my birthday weekend! Bring a dish to share with everyone as we have a pitch in and celebration. I’ll try to bring some fried chicken and a few sides. Bring whatever you like. A few vegan options are always welcome.

We will start the day with a (Drum Circle) focused on bluegrass music which will be played in the background as we accompany each song. Bring some spoons, a jug, drum or whatever suites you! Music will be selected from traditional bluegrass style music with several bands. We will most likely meet in the parlor for more space. Dance, 🕺 Make noise and more! This is a time we can close our eyes and get lost in the sounds and energy of the time. After the (Drum Circle), everyone is invited to create your own artwork based on symbols and various art of the time. I will provide some simple instruments such as a few drums and shakers. If you have an instrument of any kind, feel free to bring it as it can always blend into the sound we create. Feel free to wear some overalls and a straw hat!

THE PARLOR IS A RENTED SPACE SO ANY DONATIONS ARE APPRECIATED.

This is also a time to gather and create art for those who would like to connect without the music.

I ask for a small donation to the event for use of the parlor and the cost to help provide art material materials. A $10 donation is suggested, but you can feel free to give less or more based on your ability.
