About Stacy Schurtz and STEAM Craft Lab I’m a veteran science teacher, mom, grandmother and livelong believer that learning should be joyful, creative and meaningful. After nearly three decades in education, I watched too many children’s imagination shrink under the weight of constant testing, even as their dreams continued to grow. I created The STEAM Craft Lab to give these imaginations room to flourish agin. Here, children are enouraged to dream, create, experiment, problem-solve and discover that their ideas matter. Every class is designed to reignite curiosity, build confidence and remind kids that learning should be filled with creativity and joy. Every class, your child takes home a one-of-a -kind creation made by them.
