About this event
Children and adults of all ages will be transformed by this heartwarming tale of a young girl and her beloved Nutcracker as she battles evil and discovers the strength and resiliency of the human spirit. This version stays true to the original ballet that debuted over 100 years ago in Russia, making it a timeless and beloved holiday favorite you won’t want to miss.
Staged by Indiana Ballet Conservatory Founding Artistic Director Alyona Yakovleva, this production is based on the iconic 1934 choreography of Vasily Vainonen, bringing authenticity, elegance and tradition to the stage. Experience the way ballet is meant to be seen and heard with the timeless score played live with the Carmel Symphony Orchestra.
