About this event

Join local astronomer Doug Balogh for a journey through the cosmos, where you’ll enjoy an engaging discussion on astronomy and celestial wonders before observing the night sky. Bring your own telescope or use the host’s. Doug, a member of the Indiana Astronomical Society, shares his lifelong passion for the night sky and the latest cosmic discoveries, from nebulae to distant galaxies. Whether you're a seasoned stargazer or new to astronomy, these sessions offer a fascinating exploration of the universe. The indoor presentation will take place rain or shine, but outdoor viewing may be canceled due to bad weather, so be sure to dress accordingly.
