About this event

Have you ever wondered why certain works of art are chosen to hang in the museum, and how they got there? What do curators, conservators, and registrars do, and how did they choose their career paths? What do artists, art dealers, and the art market have to do with public art collections like the IMA's? Please join Dr. Kjell Wangensteen, Associate Curator of European Art, each First Thursday for a series of casual, 15-minute public conversations with experts, artists, and community members from a range of backgrounds. Conversation topics are different each time and include art, the art world, and anything museum-related that may capture your interest. Meet at LOVE on Floor 2.
