About this event
Winterlights presented by Bank of America is back and brighter than ever. This year, join us for a special season as we celebrate 10 years of this beloved holiday tradition in The Garden at Newfields. Nearly two million lights will dance beneath your feet and twinkle overhead, reaching the very tips of 100-year-old trees and lighting the way. To commemorate 10 years of winter magic, guests will be delighted by brand new displays and old favorites from over the years. New this year, experience moonGARDEN by Lucion-a custom shadow theater show inspired by the plants of the Madeline F. Elder Greenhouse. Returning from the very first year of Winterlights, see Playtime in Indy, a tree sculpture made entirely of colorful toys by artist Karl Unnasch. The undeniable display of wintertime wonder extends inside the historic Lilly House with Styled for the Season sponsored by LINNEA. Experience delightfully decorated rooms adorned with towering stacks of beautifully wrapped gifts, a charming Dickens-inspired library, lavishly trimmed trees, and snow much more. The more the merrier...Winterwonder Pass is available for guests looking for ultimate cheer. Enjoy exclusive access to the Winterwonder Lounge on the second floor of Lilly House, decked out with over-the-top holiday glamour. Eat, drink, and be merry at Tinsel Terrace sponsored by Diageo, a spectacularly silver wonderland. Satisfy your holiday sweet cravings with s'more kits and giant chocolate chip cookies. Get in the holiday spirit-cocoa and ciders can be spiked with a shot from Bulleit Premium Whiskey or Smirnoff Peppermint Vodka. Or, enjoy a Winterlights-inspired Electric Reindeer brew from Sun King Brewing Co., or a spiced plum cider from Ash & Elm Cider Co. Pick up a thoughtful gift from Wintermarket sponsored by Marian, Inc or The Museum & Garden Shop. There is something for everyone on your list and your purchase supports Newfields. The more you know... Kids five and under are free. There is a $2 processing fee per paid ticket. Access Pass is excluded from processing fees.
