  • Carmel resident Christine Craig and Fishers’ Kim Slimak launched Women in the Pause to help women prepare for perimenopause.   • Mortgage rates have dropped to four-year lows with the average 30-year rate just under 6%. MIBOR data shows central Indiana homes (median price $300K, inventory up 18%, and 69 days on the market) are drawing buyers to walkable neighborhoods.  WTHR

  • The Indy Fuel secured a 5-2 win over Iowa at the Fishers Event Center, with Cody Laskosky & Matt Petgrave leading scoring as Mitchell Weeks stopped 22 shots. The teams will meet again Saturday night for Blackhawks Night as Jim Cornelison sings the anthem.  WTHR
  • Area teams wrapped their regular seasons before sectionals begin next week as Whiteland set a record with its 18th win by beating Beech Grove 89-61 while Franklin edged Indianapolis Metro 64-53 and Tri-West won 65-62 over Cardinal Ritter.  WTHR
