- ➤ One-Call Connect, a new low-cost ride service, will launch April 6 to help residents travel between Hancock and Hamilton counties. The program, run by CIRTA, Hamilton County Express and Ride Hancock, requires rides to be booked 48 hours ahead and charges $8 each way from homes to Leo’s Market + Eatery. WRTV
GOVERNMENT NEWS
- ➤ Three candidates running for local offices reported racist text messages containing a hateful slur ahead of the May primary. Demetrice Hicks (state Senate), Monica White (county clerk), and Claudette Peterson (township trustee) said the texts would not deter their efforts to reach voters. WTHR
- ➤ Indiana recognized the Tuskegee Airmen for the first time when Gov. Mike Braun read a proclamation at Indianapolis International Airport Wednesday morning (the Decatur Central High School Jazz Band played 1940's music) to honor their legacy. WTHR
