Good morning, Carmel.

Interventional radiologist Dr. Scott Savader partnered with the city to launch Carmel Citizens for a Cleaner City.

The volunteer program, running April 25 to September, lets teams of two to four remove trash along safe street segments — trash bags provided and pickups arranged for weighing collections and awarding prizes.

On April 15, the Carmel Redevelopment Commission approved a potential sale of 35,000 sqft of office space at Monon & Main at 211 W.

Main St., transferred Christkindlmarkt huts to the street department, and welcomed Parker Criswell as its newest member, while buyer JK Monon & Main LLC undergoes vetting.

Carmel Marathon organizers postponed the weekend race due to dangerous weather and now plan to hold it on Sunday, May 31 (runners can keep their registration, defer to next year, or choose a virtual option).
