- ➤ Councilor Jeff Worrell launched the Carmel Civility Foundation to share Project Civility tools with communities and will host a national summit at the Carmel Clay Public Library on Sept. 26 and 27 for 200 invited leaders—local efforts also plan a community-wide event in July. Current

- ➤ Jacquie’s Gourmet Catering lost its Carmel facility after a fire in May 2024 and used the Palomino Ballroom kitchen for a sold-out season. The business is now preparing to move into new headquarters at 4306 W. 96th St.—a larger showroom that will not include restaurant space—and plans to open soon. Current
GOVERNMENT NEWS
- ➤ Carmel City Council voted Monday to form a new investigative committee to look into the actions of a prior probe that had shut down local nonprofits and led to resignations after questioning Christkindlmarkt spending.
