- ➤ Former Carmel resident Deb Miller will release her debut memoir 'Forget the Fairy Tale and Find Your Happiness' on June 24 — the book is published by She Writes Press and distributed by Simon & Schuster and shares her journey to balance motherhood, a high-powered career, and the search for real happiness. - ➤ Local meteorologist Matt Standridge said Indiana’s lightning bug season may begin earlier than usual due to a warm, humid spring—peak activity is expected in early to mid-June with the glowing insects remaining visible for one to two months until conditions dry by July. WTHR

- ➤ At last Friday's Hoosier Heartland Conference meet in Carroll, Sheridan's track team won five events while Nova Cross achieved a quadruple win by taking the 100, 200 and 400 dashes and then joining her teammates to win the 4x400 relay – boosting the school's performance. - ➤ Saturday baseball saw Hamilton Southeastern beat Hamilton Heights 12-4 at Ken Seitz Field while Guerin Catholic split its games at Lafayette Classic. Carmel’s Greyhounds split their Crown Point tournament rounds — a 10-1 loss followed by a 4-0 win — and will host Mooresville on Thursday and Roncalli on Friday before playing at Bloomington North on Saturday.
