  • Purdue AeroEco Lab mapped hotspots where millions of migratory birds rest each night in May (including zones along the Wabash and Ohio River corridors) before flying north to Michigan and Canada.  WTHR

  • Former mayor Jim Brainard retired in early 2024 but remains active in local civic projects.
