- ➤ Hamilton County officials recovered the body of an adult man from the White River near 206th Street and Riverwood Avenue late Tuesday morning, and an autopsy is scheduled as investigators work to determine the cause of death—residents are urged to wear life jackets when swimming at this time of year. - ➤ A Knicks fan was stabbed in the back at Danny Boy Beer Works on May 23 around 10:45 p.m. during a fight on the back patio and police arrested 24-year-old Jarrett Funke after he injured two men—one of whom was taken to the hospital. The Hamilton County Reporter
- ➤ An Indiana Pacers fan was arrested Friday night at Danny Boy Beer Works in Carmel after he allegedly stabbed a New York Knicks fan on the back patio during an altercation and now faces charges of battery by means of a deadly weapon + disorderly conduct while one victim was taken to a hospital with a stab wound, broken rib and lung tear. - ➤ Michael Pote retired after 35 years of teaching band at Carmel High School and was recognized for his long service. Longtime colleague Kyle Young, who worked with the band since 2013, will lead the program—continuing the team spirit that helped it earn national acclaim. Carmel Monthly

- ➤ Hamilton County launched the NavigateHC website today to help residents find mental health, substance use, food, veteran, and foster care services quickly and to request a local navigator (the $67,800 project was funded through Opioid Settlement Dollars). - ➤ High school baseball Section 8 play begins tonight at Victory Field in Indianapolis and will run through June 20–21 with 379 games over 25 days. Hamilton County teams, including Hamilton Southeastern Royals who face No. 4 Fishers Tigers at 5:30 p.m. tonight, will compete for four state championships. The Hamilton County Reporter
- ➤ Today, three Hamilton County girls tennis teams reached the regional finals after winning Tuesday's semifinals, with Westfield, Carmel, and Fishers each advancing from their matches. Westfield will face No. 16 Delta at (4:45 p.m.), Carmel will play No. 1 Brebeuf Jesuit at (5:00 p.m.), and Fishers will meet New Castle at (5:00 p.m.) while Laurel Buttrick continues in individual play after improving to 18-3. - ➤ The Carmel girls track & field team defended its regional championship at Lafayette Jefferson on Tuesday by scoring 127 points with nine event wins and qualifying 12 athletes for the IHSAA state finals on June 7.
