- ➤ Local leaders and children will have their letters sealed in a time capsule at noon June 13 at Carmel Clay History Museum, 211 1st St. SW — the event also celebrates two new exhibits and marks the city's 50th and nation's 250th anniversaries. Current
- ➤ Americana on Main summer series will switch from Wednesday to Thursday nights starting June 11 and continuing through the Fourth of July. The celebration offers interactive arts and crafts and live local music from 4 to 7 p.m. each night. Current

- ➤ A warm, wet spring has sparked an early lightning bug season in Indiana. Early sightings began in late March, and residents can expect peak activity soon in southern areas by late May and northern areas by mid-June (ideal conditions include dark, humid nights). WTHR

- ➤ The Indiana Fever will defend their Commissioner's Cup title in a tournament running Monday through June 17, with Caitlin Clark looking to bounce back from a scoring slump. Teams will earn charity donations of $3,000 per win & $1,000 per loss, and the champion will receive a $10,000 bonus. WTHR
