- ➤ Carey Grove Park in Carmel will soon have a new self-guided trail called Jerry’s Native Tree Walk — a tribute to longtime educator and naturalist Jerry Kozlansky who helped shape outdoor learning. Carmel Clay Parks Recreation approved the naming in May and will hold a dedication ceremony this summer — a move that will let visitors engage with native tree species and his legacy. Current
