- ➤ This summer, Carmel Clay Public Library’s Joyce Winner West Branch will close for a $1.7 million renovation that repairs its facade, windows, and heating and cooling system as well as adds a holds pickup locker — officials will also assess solar panels. The building at 12770 Horseferry Rd. is expected to reopen in late November. Current
- ➤ Brian Tullis, who moved from Chicago to Carmel, has led free, early morning F3 workouts for about three years, where roughly 100 local men meet for exercise and service projects at four Carmel locations—Carter Green, Clay Terrace parking lot, Northview Church and Coxhall Gardens. Current
- ➤ Jay Collins from Carmel was presented with the Ida Yaney Overholser Award today for his volunteer work with Teach One to Lead One mentoring in central Indiana—he helped launch the first mentoring group at Hamilton Heights High School in 2019 and supported the program's growth to six school corporations since that time. - ➤ On May 28, Ryan Hudson-Peralta and his son Noah Hudson-Peralta visited the Payne & Mencias Palladium to present their audit findings for the Allied Solutions Center for the Performing Arts in Carmel.
