- ➤ Community First Bank announced it joined a program that provided $220,000 to eight local nonprofits working on affordable housing and community development. The bank contributed $20,000—matching funds that helped secure support from FHLBank Indianapolis with $200,000—to back these efforts. The Hamilton County Reporter

- ➤ Ally Hall found two dogs left in parked cars at Hamilton Town Center when temperatures hit the low-90s and she called Noblesville Police who took one dog inside for air conditioning before returning for the second—Indiana law advises calling first responders if an animal is left unattended in a car. EDUCATION NEWS
- ➤ The Carmel Clay Schools Board of Trustees updated athletic projects for Carmel High School at its June 23 meeting; the update covered new tennis courts that began work in December 2024 and will be complete this month for the boys season, a finished softball complex ready for the 2025 season, and a home grandstand renovation that started in 2024 and will finish in 2026. Superintendent Michael Beresford explained that extra cost was added for removing unsuitable soils plus the new grandstand will offer improved ADA seating, an extended concourse, expanded locker rooms and a new press box.
