- ➤ Nickel Plate Heritage Railroad has carried nearly 6,000 riders on its railbike rides this year and announced new sponsor support from Meijer and Gaylor Electric to help keep its trains in good shape. The railroad also awarded its first Toni Dickover Heart of Service Scholarship to Noblesville graduate Zach McMichael for his volunteer work and academic achievement. The Hamilton County Reporter

- ➤ A Carmel couple, Sean and Miranda Armie, will open Stella House Books in downtown Carmel in late spring as they renovate a historic home into a cozy bookstore. - ➤ Sadie Cohen and four other Carmel High School students will return to Songbook Academy from July 12-19 at Allied Solutions Center for the Performing Arts in Carmel—students will work with Broadway stars and music educators to hone performance skills and explore new musical styles.
