- ➤ Today, Foster Success named four new board members — Tina Gridiron, Dennis Martin, Lauren Smith and Anne Valentine — and reappointed its board officers to new terms to continue supporting young people leaving foster care. - ➤ Hamilton County is marking its 16th Anniversary of Tenderloin Tuesdays through July 29 with a Free Pass (from over 50 local restaurants) that offers discounts and a chance to earn a commemorative Tshirt when deals are redeemed at four spots. - ➤ Hamilton East Public Library won the prestigious 2025 John Cotton Dana Public Relations Award—one of eight libraries to be honored—and received a $10,000 grant from the H.W. Wilson Foundation. - ➤ Residents and visitors at Geist Reservoir are enjoying summer water activities after a June 10 spike in E. coli levels peaked at 436 CFU but returned to safe levels by July 3. - ➤ Earlier this month, Stacia Scott learned her 2-year-old son Cody has been diagnosed with stage M neuroblastoma after a second opinion revealed cancer in his body. - ➤ On July 6 and 7, county players competed in the Central Junior Masters at Battle Ground Golf Club (near Lafayette) with Noblesville’s Lance Decker leading the Masters Boys division with a score of 147 and Carmel’s Alex Gardner finishing eighth after making four birdies and an eagle. - ➤ Noblesville’s Tyler Wascher and Fishers’ Zachary Bippus began playing volleyball last year and quickly earned a spot on the U.S. Men’s Deaf National Volleyball Team after a winter camp in Rochester, NY. They will represent the nation at the Deaflympics in Tokyo from November 15 to 26 & aim to build on their national silver medal finish at the USA Volleyball Nationals. The Hamilton County Reporter
- ➤ The Indiana Pacers and Lucas Oil announced a multi-year jersey patch partnership today — the logo will appear on uniforms as the team opens NBA 2K26 Summer League games in Las Vegas.
