  • City planning officials reviewed ideas for the Home Place area during the July 15 meeting and set forth a sub-area plan that could later become part of Carmel’s comprehensive plan. The proposal includes recommendations like partnering with 106th & College Inc., new funding programs, and building standards while residents raised concerns about neighborhood changes, and the plan was sent to committee for further review with the next meeting scheduled for Aug 5 at Carmel City Hall.  Current

  • Cradle Indy hosted an event with local agencies to find ways to lower infant deaths in Marion County where some mothers do not get early health care. In 2023, 524 Indiana babies died before their first birthday, with high numbers in ZIP codes 46218, 46219 & 46201.  WTHR
