- ➤ On Tuesday, Westfield police executed a search warrant at MisterManCave for its alleged counterfeit sports memorabilia scheme—authorities including the FBI are continuing their investigation into the matter. WRTV

- ➤ Jon Baldwin is leading a volunteer group to revive the Clay Township Military Library and Museum at 10801 N. College Ave in the Home Place neighborhood because it has seen few visitors. He said the museum will update its exhibits, launch a website with a searchable veterans database, and open on special dates like Aug. 4—free admission may help draw more locals. Current

- ➤ At a July 14 meeting, Hamilton County Commissioners approved 16 new voting precincts, a cybersecurity awareness policy, and an interlocal agreement with the Town of Sheridan for a roadway project on Dunbar Road — which includes a 10 foot multiuse path — raising the precinct count from 220 to 235. The roadway project will be further reviewed at upcoming council meetings. Current
- ➤ The Carmel Fire Department applied for the SAFER federal grant to add 12 full-time firefighters for a new station on the northwest side. The department expects a decision in August and funds by the end of September if approved—cost sharing is required. Current
