  • A 56-year-old Fishers woman died from asphyxia after drowning—she was found unresponsive in a pool on the 11100 block of Muirfield Trace near East 106th Street and Geist Road on July 22.  WTHR

GOVERNMENT NEWS

  • The City of Carmel has invited residents to give input on master plan designs for the former CNO campus from Aug. 4 to Aug. 11. City employees and councilors will use feedback from display stations at City Hall, the Monon Community Center and Carmel Clay Public Library — to select a design firm for the 80-acre site.  Current

  • On July 24, the Fishers Health Department reported that the Indiana Department of Health detected West Nile virus in mosquito samples from Hamilton County—officials advise residents to remove standing water and use EPA-registered insect repellent and long clothing at dawn and dusk.  Current
