Woody’s BBQ, a pop-up trailer run by father—daughter team Claude and Samantha Wood in the John Kirk Furniture parking lot, served brisket, pork, ribs and smoked baked beans on a hot mid-July day.
The trailer is set to close this fall due to reduced sales and rising costs, though the Wood family will continue hosting community meals for those in need.

Carmel native Tyler Wills, a Purdue diver, placed fifth with his partner Bayleigh Cranford in the mixed 10m synchronized final at the World Aquatics Championships in Singapore—China won the gold, and diving competitions continue until Aug.
