- ➤ The 2025 Indiana State Fair will run from Aug. 1-17 with the theme Soundtrack of Summer—featuring new food items, discount days, free concerts and exhibits like the VINYL REVIVAL experience. - ➤ Today on Send the Love, people are raising money for The Kids Closet — a nonprofit that collects clothes and fills over 1,000 orders each year including emergency orders and school needs. Donations will buy socks and underwear for the back-to-school rush. WTHR

- ➤ Dolly Parton's Imagination Library is now available for children from birth to age five in Hamilton County (the Dollywood Foundation secures books at a discount while local partners cover mailing and program costs). - ➤ In the past six months, ICE arrested nearly 1,400 people in Indiana suspected of being here illegally, an 80% increase from last year that included 55 individuals in June with no criminal charges—state law enforcement agencies are now cooperating with ICE per Gov. Mike Braun’s executive order while plans are underway to house detainees at Camp Atterbury. WTHR

- ➤ On Sunday, Bubba Wallace ended a three-year winless streak at the Brickyard 400 at Indianapolis Motor Speedway—earning his second playoff appearance and becoming the first Black driver to win a major race there.
