Today, the City of Carmel announced road construction projects that may affect traffic when Carmel Clay Schools begin classes Aug.

6. The projects include installing raised pedestrian crosswalks on Towne Road, reopening a roundabout at 116th Street on Aug. 5, partial reconstruction of College Avenue, bridge work on 126th Street through October, and the closure of the Clay Center Road bridge by December + work will continue through the fall.

The Carmel estate of the late Colts owner Jim Irsay went on the market on July 30 for $12 million—this 9.4-acre property includes a 24,000-square-foot main house, guest homes, and a Colts-branded basketball court—and it borders the Crooked Stick Golf Club.

The estate remains in the Irsay family and stands as a tribute to his legacy.

Team officials announced on July 30 that the Indianapolis Colts sold out 90% of season tickets at Lucas Oil Stadium for the 2025 season (including suites and club seats), while tickets for single games, group sales and community groups remain available and fans may join the waitlist for next season.
