- ➤ Local public broadcaster WFYI said CPB’s plan to shut down after Congress cut over $1 billion in funding will make it harder for stations to serve audiences. CPB said most staff positions will end with the fiscal year on Sept. 30—leaving a small team to finish remaining work until January. WTHR
- ➤ City officials in Carmel are inviting residents to help shape an 80-acre redevelopment project on the former CNO Financial Group campus near downtown, where empty office buildings and large parking lots await new plans. Residents can review proposals from three urban design firms and submit feedback online or at in-person stations at the Carmel Clay Public Library, Monon Community Center + the Redevelopment Commission office from August 4–11.
