- ➤ A Carmel American Legion Post 155 auxiliary led by Judy Holmes joined forces with local groups to supply 23 necessary household items to Manchester Apartments, an HVAF-run transitional home for homeless veterans in Indianapolis that was damaged by fire in October 2024. The teams (including auxiliaries from Fishers, Cicero, and Whitestown) completed the effort in time for a housewarming shower on May 30 and an open house on June 11. Current

- ➤ Indiana Fever lost 95—60 to Phoenix Mercury after Natasha Howard drilled a half-court shot to end the first half. The team will play the Chicago Sky Saturday night at Gainbridge Fieldhouse—followed by games against Dallas on Aug. 12th and Washington on Aug. 15th. WTHR
