- ➤ At its August 13 meeting, the Hamilton County Election Board reviewed a proposal to replace precinct-based voting with 52 vote centers that could prevent voter mistakes and speed up machine fixes—board member Greg Purvis and other critics warned the move might lead to longer lines.
