- ➤ Chreece 2025 festival will take place on Saturday, Aug. 23 in Fountain Square with headliners Smino, Audrey Nuna, MAVI and 81355 and more than 40 local and traveling artists performing across seven venues. Organizers say the event, marking 10 years of hip-hop music, will include a vendor village, art installations and after-parties—offering a full day of music and community fun. WTHR

- ➤ The Red Cross is hosting the Knock Out The Need Blood Drive Sept. 3 and 4 to help patients who need blood for surgeries, cancer care and injuries. The event runs from noon to 6 p.m. on Sept. 3 and 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Sept. 4 at sites in Columbus, Carmel, Bloomington and Indianapolis — donors should schedule an appointment. WTHR
