- ➤ The Hamilton County Sheriff’s Office is accepting applications for its Fall Citizen’s Academy, a 12-week law enforcement training program that will begin on Sept. 4 and meet Thursday evenings from 6:30 to 9:30 p.m.—participants will gain hands-on experience in various policing duties and complete the course with a graduation ceremony.
