- ➤ A Carmel Police Department call on a possible stabbing on Aug. 31 at 4:33 a.m. in the 500 block of E. 111th St. led officers to encounter an aggressive dog—shot so they could safely reach a person calling for help in a detached garage—and the dog was later euthanized after the owner’s puncture wound was treated at the scene.
