COMMUNITY NEWS

  • Carmel officials have set many community events for the coming weeks—these include a civility summit at the Carmel Clay Public Library on Sept. 26-27, a film expo on Sept. 20, a high school reunion on Sept. 19-20, and a special gala at the Carmel Clay History Museum on Oct. 4. Other plans will offer donation drop sites, trivia nights, museum celebrations, volunteer work and scholarship opportunities for local residents.  Current
  • Hamilton County Tourism launched the HamCo Hubway to help local people use over 600 miles of trails, offering a free trail guide available by mail and online while sharing updates on projects like The 106 that will connect Carmel and Fishers this fall. Officials said the campaign will help cyclists explore the county’s trail system (free guide available) and (digital map accessible).  Current

GOVERNMENT NEWS

  • The U.S. Postal Service will host job fairs from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on September 26 in four Indiana cities—Fishers, Noblesville, Zionsville and Brownsburg to fill rural carrier associate and assistant rural carrier positions paying up to $20.38 an hour with some benefits.
