- ➤ Carmel and Center Grove will rejoin the Metropolitan Interscholastic Conference in the 2026-27 school year after MIC principals voted on Sept. 11 to allow them back—ending three seasons of independent play after their removal in December 2021. This decision follows their unsuccessful petition to join another conference. WTHR
