- ➤ Hamilton County Commissioners reviewed bids on Sept. 8 for resurfacing roads in Jackson and White River townships and will have the highway department make a recommendation at their next meeting on Sept. 22 at 1 p.m.—they were also notified of an $8,875 grant from the Duke Energy Foundation that the Emergency Management Department will use to buy safety equipment like voltage detectors and rapid radios. - ➤ Spencer Shrader kicked a 45-yard field goal—made after a penalty on his earlier 60-yard try—that gave the Colts a 29-28 win over the Broncos on Sunday. Daniel Jones passed for 316 yards and scored a touchdown in his second start, helping the Colts earn their first 2-0 record since 2009. WTHR
