- ➤ After a tragic incident on Sept. 28 in Grand Blanc, Mich where four people died and eight were hurt, comfort dog teams from Carmel traveled to Michigan to help survivors and first responders. - ➤ Marc Swatez, CEO of the Jewish Federation of Greater Indianapolis, said local community members feel mixed joy and sorrow after reports that Israeli hostages have been freed from captivity—while many are happy to see them return, they also grieve those lost in the conflict.
