A Carmel family launched nonprofit RISE for LCHAD to support rare disease research and raised over $90K in less than a year.
It held its inaugural Fueling Hope gala Aug. 28 at The Stutz and plans to direct $70K this year toward research at UPMC Children’s Hospital of Pittsburgh.
