- ➤ Indianapolis native Mike Epps will headline the We them One’s Comedy Tour at Gainbridge Fieldhouse on Feb. 13 at 8 p.m. Tickets go on sale today at 10 a.m. and the tour will feature comedians including Chico Bean, DC Young Fly and Jayski with surprise guests. WTHR

- ➤ The Federal Aviation Administration announced it will reduce air traffic by 10% at 40 busy airports today due to a government shutdown that left air traffic controllers unpaid, which may affect thousands of flights including those in Indianapolis where operations remain normal—airlines advise travelers to check for updates. - ➤ On Oct. 28, the City of Carmel removed a towering evergreen from Buckhorn—an act prompted by a safety review even though residents thought the HOA managed the tree. The tree now sits at Carter Green and will be decorated for the Carmel Christkindlmarkt running Nov. 22 to Dec. 24. Current

- ➤ Soil settling made balconies unusable at The Seasons apartment building and forced owners to install wooden beams for safety — the owner said repairs, including replacing balconies and reinforcing the foundation with helical piles, are under review — and construction will begin once approved. - ➤ The Carmel High School girls soccer team lost a state final match at Carroll Stadium on November 1 — Hamilton Southeastern won by a score of one to zero under high pressure. The team ended the season with a record of 19 wins, 3 losses and 1 tie — many seniors earned Academic All-State honors as standout forward Adalyn Cameron scored 40 goals and readied for college. - ➤ AJ Foyt Racing announced on November 6 that Indy NXT runner-up Caio Collet will drive the No. 4 Chevrolet with backing from Brazilian sponsor Combitrans Amazonia in all 17 IndyCar races in 2026. He will join Santino Ferrucci when the season kicks off at the Grand Prix of St. Petersburg in Florida on Sunday, March 1 — adding fresh talent to the team for next season. WTHR
