- ➤ Members of the Daughters of the American Revolution Jonathan Jennings Chapter from Carmel and Westfield met several times at the 200-year-old Farley Cemetery in Clay Township to clean headstones and honor local veterans—preserving their legacy. The volunteers hauled supplies and tended to over 500 graves, including 27 for veterans. Current
- ➤ Carmel is set for a busy holiday season with events such as the Assistance League’s Jingle and Mingle Holiday Luncheon Dec. 4 at the Ritz Charles, the Carmel High School Planetarium’s Discover the Stars show Nov. 25, and free registration for first responders and veterans at the Bolt for the Heart 5K on Nov. 27.
