CULTURE NEWS

  • Rock band Mötley Crüe will perform at Ruoff Music Center in Noblesville on Friday, Aug. 28, 2026 at 6:30 p.m. as part of its 33-city Return of the Carnival of Sins tour — featuring guest acts Tesla and Extreme.  WTHR

GOVERNMENT NEWS

  • Gov. Braun says his administration is reshaping Indiana’s economic development to support small businesses and entrepreneurship—drawing on his Main Street roots and launching initiatives like the Office of Entrepreneurship and Innovation and STARTedUp for Hoosier students—while he hopes to expand these efforts to all 92 counties.  WTHR

HEALTH NEWS

  • Indiana health officials met on Wednesday morning to discuss the diabetes crisis that has affected nearly 700,000 Hoosiers, and they reported that over 45,000 additional cases will be reported in the next year with young people increasingly at risk. Dr. Virginia Caine and other experts stressed that barriers to affordable care have led to steps such as employer-supported medication subsidies—measures that aim to improve overall diabetes management in the state.  WRTV

SPORTS NEWS

  • The Indiana Pacers snapped an eight-game losing streak when they defeated the Charlotte Hornets 127-118 at Gainbridge Fieldhouse on Wednesday night. Bennedict Mathurin led with 24 points and 12 rebounds, and the team will travel to Cleveland on November 21 for an NBA Cup group stage game.  WTHR
  • The Bloomington Bison scored four goals in the first period to beat Indy Fuel 4+1 Wednesday night at Fishers Event Center, with Daniel Tedesco and Brandon Yeamans key in the win.
