- ➤ Carmel Christkindlmarkt visitors experienced a new way to donate local charity funds when the Light the World Giving Machine was unveiled Dec. 2 on the Monon Greenway between the Payne & Mencias Palladium and Hotel Carmichael at Carmel City Center. - ➤ Dr. Adam Hicks of Franciscan Health advised that men ages 65 to 75 with a smoking history get an ultrasound screening for aneurysms to catch the silent threat before complications arise. He explained that modern stent procedures repair aneurysms larger than 5 to 5.5 centimeters — typically with a one-night hospital stay and a 7 to 10 day recovery period. WTHR
