EDUCATION NEWS

  • Carmel Clay Schools is revamping its timesheet system after a state audit found former instructional assistant LaDorn Wilkerson falsified hours to earn an extra ($6,039). The district will introduce an electronic system and require supervisor review of bus aide timesheets over the next 10 months.  WRTV

SPORTS NEWS

  • Indiana football head coach Curt Cignetti earned the Big Ten Coach of the Year award for the second straight season after a near-perfect run (with only two losses since 2024), and his team will face Ohio State on Saturday, Dec. 6 at Lucas Oil Stadium in the championship game.  WTHR
  • The Colts have struggled, scoring 20 or fewer points in three of four games, as injuries to Sauce Gardner and Daniel Jones have weakened the offense. Coach Steichen said he will adjust the plan ahead of Sunday's game at Jacksonville as the team works to reclaim its playoff push.  WTHR
