If you're a Colts fan, here's a piece that's staying put. The team signed fourth-year defensive tackle Adetomiwa Adebawore to a two-year, $35 million extension Tuesday. The 2023 fourth-round pick would have been an unrestricted free agent at season's end.

It's a contrast to a rough year. Indy is 2-6 after losing four straight, and last week the team traded Pro Bowl guard Quenton Nelson and defensive tackle DeForest Buckner to NFC West teams. Buckner went for a 2027 fourth-round pick, and Adebawore's playing time is expected to increase.
- Contract: two years, running through the 2028 season
- This season: four sacks in eight games, matching his career high
- Sunday: played 83% of defensive snaps against the Jaguars
- Trade deadline: next Tuesday
Adebawore has already matched last season's four sacks
