If you're headed to Lucas Oil Stadium on Sunday, you could be watching Jonathan Taylor's last home game as a Colt. The 2-6 Colts host the 3-5 Cowboys at 1 p.m., and the trade deadline is Tuesday at 4 p.m.
Taylor, who said Thursday the talk has become "noise," added, "Everybody wants clarity. No one wants uncertainty." He also said he wants a better showing after last week's loss: "It's at home. The fans deserve it."
- Last week: eight carries for 23 yards in a 42-7 loss
- Contract: runs through 2028
- Teams reportedly in talks: Broncos, Seahawks, Packers, Giants, Vikings
The Colts have already traded Quenton Nelson to Seattle and DeForest Buckner to San Francisco, and ESPN and NFL Network reported the team is willing to move Taylor. Since he entered the league as the 41st overall pick in 2020, he trails only Derrick Henry in rushing yards, carries and rushing touchdowns.
Only Derrick Henry has out-rushed Taylor since 2020
